Reports

There are three ways to view report data at MonkeyLMS. There are User Reports, Team Reports, and Content Reports. Each report has filtering options that let you choose exactly the information you want to see. Each report can also be downloaded in CSV format.

Columns: You can choose what columns appear in the results, from name, email, Location, User Group, content completion data, to last login and sign up date. Columns that aren’t useful for your review can be hidden. For example, if you’ve filtered out any inactive users, you could hide the Status column.

User Reports

This report is used if you want to see the completion and accuracy of a user or group of users.

From the main page you’ll see a number of filtering options. If you just want to see all users from all time click “View Report”. Otherwise, use the filters to select User Group, Location, Status, and Role.

Start/End Date: If you don’t select a start or end date, the results will show ‘all time’ data for the users selected in the filters above. Selecting a date range will show results within that range only, but will show all users that the other filters apply to. For example, if you have a user who completed 100% of available content on the 15th of the month, and you set the date range for the 16th through 30th, it will show that they completed 0% in that time. Setting the date range for the 1st through 30th would show that they completed 100% of the content.

Dates and time throughout MonkeyLMS use Coordinated Universal Time (UTC).

Content Filters: Use these options to choose specific content – either categories or individual Lessons/Courses, that you want to specifically appear in results. If you’re looking for report information based on the Lesson or Course itself, you’ll want to check Content Reports below.

Team Reports

Team Reports shows the completion and accuracy of your users based on their teams. Teams must first be set up in Teams Management.

The overview page shows a snapshot of all team activity: members and content completed. As with User Reports, you can change the columns that appear.

To view the users within a team choose from the list of teams or enter the team name in the search options. You can also search by User name, if you’re looking for teams that a specific user is in.

Once you’re viewing a team’s activity, you can further filter the results based on user details, Location/User Group, and content. The heading for the team will always show the overall completion and accuracy data for the team, but selecting a filter will also show the adjusted stats.

You can also click on any user and be brought to their individual stat page (see My Team for more details).

Content Reports

Content Reports allows you to view the user activity on a specific piece of content. As with the other reports, you can also filter by User Status, Location and User Group, Role, and so on. Then you select the Lesson or Course Exam to review. You can also set a date range, if you want to see only the activity between a certain time frame.

The results will show when the content was completed, the score, and points earned (if Points are used).
